  Staining - Lansinoh Lanolin

Lansinoh stains should be treated exactly as one would treat a grease stain. Lansinoh is an organic ester and as such can be completely removed from clothing. The best way is to pre-treat the garment before washing.  This can be done with a stain remover or with ordinary washing up liquid. Allow the garment to stand for 5 minutes or so before washing. If the item has been washed without pre-treating the stain tends to set. In this instance, a suitable stain remover or detergent should be applied directly onto the stain and the garment soaked in warm water for at least 24 hours.

Different products are available in different countries.  In the UK we suggest using Vanish OxyAction. Napisan soaker is another product that has proved to be very effective in removing stains. Customers have reported good results by pouring hydrogen peroxide directly over the stain before washing – this bubbles up and takes the stain away.
