Choosing a Breast Pump

One of the key decisions you will make once you've decided to breastfeed will be choosing a breast pump in order to express milk. There are many options to choose from, each with their own purpose and their own merit; here at Lansinoh we have put together a couple of guides on choosing a breast pump to help make the decision as easy as possible for you.

breastpump...Manual or Electric

You will need to decide whether to choose a manual or electric breast pump - manual pumps are ideal for occasional expressing and great for travelling with; whereas electric pumps might be preferred if you are going to be expressing regularly.

pump...Single or Double

Similarly, the decision to choose a single or double breast pump should be given some consideration - double pumping can take less time and is the obvious choice if you have twins, but a single pump could be the cheaper option.
